At the end of May and during the first days of June, Prof. Dr. Neringa Stončiuvienė representing the Institute of Economics, Accounting and Finance under the Faculty of Economics and Management visited Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
The main purpose of the visit was delivery of lectures under ERASMUS+ framework. Interactive lectures in the form of a discussion on cost and management accounting were held for year II students under Bachelor’s programme “Accounting”.
To make full use of the opportunity to visit Nitra, a meeting with the colleagues and administrative office of the Faculty was arranged. An interesting and substantive discussion on the issues of accounting and financial accountability was held during meetings with colleagues Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anna Latečkova and Lect. Dr. Emilija Škorecova. Issues of information presentation pertaining to the project partnered by researchers at Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra and our Faculty were discussed with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Patrik Rovny. Conversation with Prof. Dr. Elena Horska, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management was dedicated to discussion of further opportunities for cooperation between the Faculties.
International conference ICoM’2017 was held in Nitra in 1-2 June, where Prof. Dr. Neringa Stončiuvienė delivered the presentation, listened to her colleagues’ presentations, and participated in the discussions. .
Five days of the visit were full of impressions, helped generate a great deal of ideas related to research and educational work, defined the directions of further cooperation with the Slovak researchers.
