Lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Management Institute of Rural Development and Management doc. dr. Lina Marcinkeviciute and lector Jolanta Vilkeviciute under the ERASMUS programme visited Ghent university and participated in staff training organized by Ghent University and the European University Foundation during 29 – 31 of October 2018.

Ghent University is one of the leading higher education and research institutions and active partner in a wide variety of national and international educational, scientific and industrial cooperation networks. Ghent University’s 11 faculties consist of 125 departments, about 41,000 students and about 8,500 staff.

In the training was presented Erasmus + co-funded “eQuATIC “project (led by Ghent University) and was conducted by the experts that have developed the eQuATIC tool.

We learned and compared practices of international partnerships in an international context.

During the personal meetings of visit doc. dr. Lina Marcinkeviciute and lector Jolanta Vilkeviciute presented faculty of Economics and Management, main research fields and study programmes.

In addition, lecturers discuss about the possibilities for cooperation in projects, common scientific articles, lecturer’s exchange opportunities between institutions. We hope that our new colleagues from University of DANUBIUS (Romania, Bucharest), Bifrost University (Island) and Higher School of Economics (Russia, Moscow) would like to participate with our university and faculty in future on common research and international projects.
