Professors Egidijus Šarauskis (ASU Faculty of Agricultural Engineering) and Kęstutis Romaneckas (ASU Faculty of Agronomy) visited Czech University of Life Science Prague in June 05-20, 2017 according to the program ERASMUS +. Faculty of Engineering of this university is the long-term partner of ASU.
The aim of training in Czech University of Life Sciences Prague was to exchange of experience in management of agricultural engineering research, scientific analytical and study spheres through new methods reclamation. Also to grow up the relations with scientists and teachers in Czech Republic for future collective scientific and study projects development, studies of literature in the field of precision agricultural technologies and machines materials, the increase of skills in English during training time.
During the visit in University, professors met with ERASMUS+ program coordinator assoc. prof. Jiri Mašek and training organizer prof. dr. František Kumhala, with other scientific and study staff of Faculty of Engineering, discussed about scientific and study collaboration between universities. They also observed new scientific equipment, studied soil analyse methods in laboratory and field conditions. Egidijus Šarauskis and Kęstutis Romaneckas participated in local scientific conference and had meeting with colleagues from Slovak Republic. During conference time, participants visited Czech Technical Museum, Arboretum, Research fields and other structures of University. They spend much time in University’s library.
In free time professors made sightseeing in wonderful place of Czech Republic called “Czech Paradise” and observed cultural life in Praha down town.
