ASU shares good practice of the entrepreneurship education with partners from Mali


Aleksandras Stulginskis University is implementing a development cooperation project „Future Entrepreneurs for the Rural Economy in Mali“ (Project No. P2017P-VB-ML-002), financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. Project partners from the Supernatural Université Intercontinentale Libre (Mali, Bamako) with the general director Dr. Mamadou Habib Diallo and lecturers Felix Nangle N’dri and   El Hadi Mahamane Toure visited Lithuania and Aleksandras Stulginskis University.

On the first day of the visit, guests had a meeting with the rector of the Aleksandras Stulginskis University prof. Dr Antanas Maziliauskas and other university lecturers who introduced university activities fostering the education of the young entrepreneurs. The guests were invited to the Young Leader Camp, organised annually by the Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Aleksandras Stulginskis University.

The participant of the Young Leader Camp actively discussed the business ideas and realistic opportunities for business implementation, risks, competition, and leadership in business with the African guests. In the afternoon, the partners of the project visited and got acquainted with the agribusiness activities on Genutė and Juozas Staliūnas farm, located in Kaunas district, as well as the activities of UAB „Dojus Agro “ supplying and servicing agricultural machinery.

During the other days of the visit, the project partners will meet the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, representatives of  the ASU Business Incubator, LADER Centre, Rural Tourism Association, representatives of the Allanta Technology and Business School, farmers, craftsmen and Kaunas communities.
