Business and Rural Development Management Institute’s scientists visit to modern economy research conference


Head of Business and Rural Development Management Institute prof. dr. Jan Žukovskis and scientific journal “Management theory and studies for rural business and infrastructure development“ redactor prof. habil. dr. Julius Ramanauskas, 6 – 9 th of May, 2018, participated in scientific conference “Areas of Competitiveness in the Contemporary Economy“ which was held in University of Natural Sciences and Humanities, Siedlce, Poland.

Conference held three plenary sessions. There were analysed problems of ecology and development as a great challenge of the 21 st century in the first session. In this session prof. Jan Žukovskis presented his report “Management solutions for competitiveness of agricultural producer‘s organizations in Lithuania“. Report emphasized Lithuanian‘s agriculture competitiveness problems, presented manufacturers organizations establishments and perspectives in Lithuania. Other presentations were held by representatives from Belarus, Albania, Romania, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Georgia.

There were discussed problems of economics and competitiveness in modern world in the second session. In third session representatives from Belarus, Poland, Turkey and Lithuania discussed about problems of economics in everyday life and public administration. In this session prof. dr. Julius Ramanauskas represented possibilities to publicise scientific publications in journal “Management theory and studies for rural business and infrastructure development“.

Next day J. Žukovskis and J. Ramanauskas visited milk proceeding cooperative “Spomlek“, during the meeting with general cooperative director milk processions historical experience was discussed. Also our representatives from Aleksandras Stulginskis University discussed common project possibilities with mentors of University of Life Sciences in Warsaw.
