During last month of 2017 researcher Dr. Zita Kriauciuniene in India visited several studies and research institutions including Delhi University and Prof. Dr. Inderjit Laboratory, Shankara Group of Institutions (Shankara Institute of Technology and New Delhi Institute of Information Technology and Management, Krishi Vigyan Kendra) led by Doctor Honoris Causa of Aleksandras Stulginskis University Dr. Shri Sant Kumar Chaudhary, L. N. Mithila University and National Institute of Plant Genome Research of Ministry of Science and Technology of Government of India.
She participated in field works in Himalaya Mountains and in several conferences. In Bihar along with other honourable dignitaries participated as a special guest of honour in the conferences ‘Emerging Entrepreneurial Scenario in India’ organised by L. N. Mithila University Darbhanga in association with S. K. Chaudhary Educational Trust’s Shankara Group of Institution, and ‘Ambit of Entrepreneurship Development in Agriculture’ organised by S. K. Chaudhary Educational Trust’s Krishi Vigyan Kendra. In West Bengal conference ‘Status of Invasive Alien Species in India’ organised by Zoological Survey of India and Botanical Survey of India of Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change of Government of India she presented research about allelopathy and invasive plants in Lithuania.
Zita is greatly thankful for special care during her stay in India to Prof. Dr. Inderjit and Dr. Shri Sant Kumar Chaudhary. Hopefully further collaboration and plans to win H2020 project will be accomplished.
This visit convinced that international mobility is obligatory for each.
