On November 28 – December 2 the vice-dean assoc. prof. dr. Vilda Grybauskienė from the Faculty of Water and Land Management visited the University of South Bohemia in Ceské Budejovice (https://www.jcu.cz/about-the-university). This University organized the 4th international week, which was attended by 33 representatives from 21 universities. The largest team was represented by the Polish university – as many as 11 people from 5 different universities. International week began with a short presentation of participants and the vice-rector assoc. dr. Radke Zavodsky greeting word.
The event was attended by international department heads of various universities and representatives working with the mobility of students of the university and individual faculties as well as by lectures and staff of individual faculty departments.
University and college representatives were to prepare reports of 15-20 minutes about their university, faculties, research. Due to the large number of participants, reports were made for 2 days. Throughout the week participants visited different faculties, libraries, scientific leboratories.
Since the university has its own brewery, all participants were invited to taste “the University ” beer and have a chat with vice-deans of the faculties in an informal environment. University student representatives also presented their activities and participated in events and excursions.
During the meeting with the vice-dean for International Relations of the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters assoc. prof. dr. Vojtech Kaspar, various forms of cooperation as well as joint degree program options were discussed and it was agreed on the professor V. Kashpar‘s visit to ASU, to get acquainted with our laboratories and students of fisheries and aquaculture technologies.
