Academical campus

Distinguishing characteristics of ASU – compact and cosy student campus, which is located in a non-urbanized area near Kaunas city. The natural areas surrounding the University campus create a pleasant, healthy and secure space for work and recreation. Here one enjoys Kamša reserve, the Nemunas valley and wide open spaces.
Academical campus provides all conditions for residence and recreation: public catering establishments, shops, household service providers, two primary health care centers. The biggest in Lithuania outdoor sports ground is near the dormitories. Protected and public car parks meet the needs of students and personnel. Good communication with Kaunas city allows quickly reach of city center, objects of recreation, entertainment, etc. Kaunas Bus and Railway station can be reached by bus No 18 and minibus No 56, while minibus No 81 goes to Kaunas Clinical hospital and Šiaurės avenue. The University is located near the international highway Via Baltica and at few kilometers distance from the highway Vilnius – Klaipėda. The University campus is free of traffic jams, parking facilities are always available.

Dormitories

Accomodation in ASU dormitories, which are located near the training buildings, is provided to all interested students of the University. Preference is given to the first-year students. ASU – is the only University in Lithuania that provides such conditions. At present more than 2400 full-time and correspondence students are accomodated in the University dormitories.
First-year students get accomodation in dormitories already in August.
In dormitories 2-3 students share one room. Dormitories are regularly renovated. One of them is hotel-type – for those who want more comfort and luxury. All dormitories have points of internet accesses. Environment of dormitories is improved and beautified every year.
The University territory has enough protected and public car parks.
