On 12-16th March Assoc. prof. dr. Rasa Pakeltienė, vice dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, and assoc. prof. dr. Rimantas Dapkus of the Department of Business and Rural Development had an internship at the Estonian University of Life Sciences where they presented the researches of the institute and faculty, visited the laboratories of the Estonian University of Life Sciences, discussed the possibilities of commercialization of science. Also during the internship, scientists had the opportunity to meet with the most successful experts from the Estonian University of Life Sciences specialist advisers, craftsmen, social business subjects who sell products and services in rural areas of Estonia.
During the internship at the Estonian University of Life Sciences assoc. prof. dr. Rasa Pakeltienė and assoc. prof. dr. Rimantas Dapkus met with partners from the Latvian University of Agriculture and Halmstad University, (Sweden). During the workshops, partners discussed the results of the FARMENT project (From Farmer to Entrepreneur) and produced a new project application, which is expected to be funded from the INTERREG program.
