Accounting and finance program student Tomas Diliūnas and lecturer Erika Besusparienė from the institute of economics, accounting and finance participated at Cyprus on 25-29th of June 2018. It is a part of project „Creative Workshop: Creating Student Entrepreneurship and Creativity in the North, Central and Southern Lithuania „Creative Lab“.
The internship was held together with Vytautas Magnus University, Šiauliai University and Marijampole College students and lecturers.
During the internship the Head of „Eurosuccess Consulting“ Giorgos Giorgakis, introduced international projects and opportunities for students to participate in Erasmus +. Giorgos Giorgakis revealed that the Cypriot government is providing grants for start-ups for young people under the age of 35 and for women under the age of 55. A non-Cypriot citizen can also become a businessman, requiring a minimum of 6 months residence in Cyprus.
During was presented a smart space for students teaching. Project Manager Andreas Ioannou introduced innovations and provided possible to test computer games for learning. Also, student Tomas Diliūnas and lecturer Erika Besusparienė got possibility to visit modern medical and stomatological auditoriums in European University Cyprus. All auditoriums has modern equipment, classrooms controlled by tablet computers. Lecturer can manages everything with tablet computers: screen, projector, windows, lights, cameras, etc. All lectures are filmed, students can replay video for theirs learning. There are many simulative audiences with patients and equipment, students use simulation games for training purposes.
