Dr. Dalia Perkumienė, assoc. professor of the Faculty of Economics and Management visited the Universidad de Extremadura/Extremadura university (Spain) on March 5-9, 2018 under the teachers exchange program ERASMUS +.
The purpose of the visit was to share and to get experience in the subject of international environmental law as the practice and research in international environmental law requires knowledge of foreign law, the ability to compare different legal systems and to value their advantages and disadvantages.
During this visit master and bachelor students of Extremadura university faculties of law got acquainted with the principles of environmental law in Lithuania and other EU countries.
ASU teacher was introduced to the study process, researches and projects at the Faculty of law. It’s was decided to participate in common researches and to publish a common article in the international journal with the index of ISI.
During the visit the teacher also had a possibility to visit the municipality of Caceres and to participate in the debates “Legal aspects of environmental protection.” During this meeting were made new contacts.
This visit to Extremadura university would contribute to the strengthening of relations between relevant institutions of both universities in the academic and scientific field.
