ERASMUS teaching visit to GTU


Lecturer Otilija Miseckaite (Institute of the Water Resources Engineering, Faculty of Water and Land Management) with the support by Erasmus teaching programme visited Tsotne Mirtskhulava Water Management Institute of Georgian Technical University (GTU) on 19 – 25 February 2018, Tbilisi, Georgia. She presented the lectures in the field of environmental engineering management in agriculture land and the possibilities for exchanges studies at ASU.

The possible cooperation in research were discussed with Dr., Prof. Givi Gavardashvili, Director of Water Management Institute of the Georgian Tecnical University.

Lect. Otilija Miseckaite was talking with Georgian students about educational programs’ in ASU Lithuania and what they should use this chance, as Lithuania is offering them the chance of receiving worldwide diploma, perspectives of employment and european education on an international education fair “IEFG 2018” in Expo Georgia, on February 23-24, 2018.

Lect. Otilija Miseckaite take part in the even in the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Georgia. There was given information to Georgian journalists about higher education and educational programs’ in Lithuania. Ambassador of Lithuania to Georgia, his excellence Giedrius Puodžiunas talked about the friendship, educational and cultural relationship in these two countries. On the meeting, there were also Georgian and Lithuanian students who had been in exchange programs and the representatives of Lithuanian culture and language in Georgia.
